While frontend experience is the priority, we want someone comfortable contributing across the stack and partnering closely with design, product, and AI engineering.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone who cares deeply about product quality, loves building polished interfaces, and enjoys working in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you'll do</strong></p> <ul data-pattern="discCircleSquare" data-depth="1"> <li>Build intuitive, high-performance frontend experiences for security analysts</li> <li>Design and implement reusable UI systems and frontend architecture</li> <li>Work across the stack to deliver end-to-end product features</li> <li>Collaborate closely with AI engineers to surface agent outputs in understandable and actionable ways</li> <li>Improve performance, reliability, observability, and developer experience</li> <li>Translate complex security and AI workflows into elegant product experiences</li> <li>Contribute to product direction, UX decisions, and technical strategy</li> <li>Partner with AI Core, Security Integrations, and GTM teams to prioritize roadmap and translate ambiguity into shipped outcomes.</li> <li>Provide mentorship and raise the bar on code quality, design reviews, and operational excellence.</li> <li>Drive quality through automated testing, performance monitoring, and secure coding practices.</li> <li>Periodically participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul data-pattern="discCircleSquare" data-depth="1"> <li>6+ years of engineering experience, including leading projects from design to production.</li> <li>Deep experience with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)</li> <li>Strong TypeScript and JavaScript fundamentals</li> <li>Experience building complex, data-rich, heavy-client web applications</li> <li>Strong UI/UX instincts and attention to detail</li> <li>Experience contributing to backend services, including building APIs, interacting with databases, and monitoring application health</li> <li>Experience with frontend state management, performance optimization, and component architecture</li> <li>Early-stage startup mindset. You thrive on ambiguity, move with lightspeed execution, and can translate ambiguity into shipped features that move the business forward</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Work Environment/Travel</strong></p> <p>We are a 100% remote company where you will work from your home with company-provided equipment to set you up for success. Semi-frequent travel to professional office settings and other events locally and nationally; some overnight travel expected.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Compensation</strong></p> <p>In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range below, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at Dropzone your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition, all compensation packages include significant above market new hire equity grants because we believe in rewarding long term value creation. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
