While much of the industry remains in R&D, we deliver real, production-ready autonomy that is already operating in the field. <br><br>We are on a mission to make mining operations safer, smarter, and more efficient through cutting-edge technology, and we are building toward becoming the world’s first profitable AV technology company.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you’ll do</strong><em><br><br></em></p> <p><strong>Project Delivery & Management</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Success Criteria:</strong> Deliver projects to the agreed-upon performance metrics and success criteria, ensuring the autonomous system is integrated seamlessly into the mine’s production cycle.</li> <li><strong>Team Leadership:</strong> Manage the local field team, overseeing permitting, scheduling, safety compliance, and overall work performance.</li> <li><strong>Customer Management:</strong> Hold the customer accountable for their deliverables, including resource commitments, machine availability, and site/route/equipment readiness.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Strategic Liaison</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Primary Point of Contact:</strong> Act as the central communication hub between the customer site and Pronto HQ, providing regular progress reports and escalating technical or operational blockers.</li> <li><strong>Process Integration:</strong> Work with customers to set up or modify existing operational processes to accommodate autonomous haulage.</li> <li><strong>Handover & Training:</strong> Lead the customer training programs on Pronto technology and manage the formal handover of the system to the mine’s operations team.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What we’re looking for</strong></p> <p><strong>Experience & Education</strong></p> <ul> <li>Mining Expertise: 15+ years of direct mining experience. You must be extremely comfortable and knowledgeable in a mine site environment, understanding the nuances of production and safety.</li> <li>Leadership Tenure: 5–10 years in a leadership role (e.g., Site Superintendent, Maintenance Manager, or Fleet Manager).</li> <li>Tech Rollout Experience: Proven track record of actively participating in technology rollouts, such as autonomy, remote operations, telematics, or machine control systems.</li> <li>Education: A University Degree in Mining Engineering is highly preferred to establish immediate credibility with customer stakeholders.</li> <li>Location: Must be based in AZ, CA, TX or WY. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Operational Authority: The ability to command respect on-site and influence customer decision-making to ensure site readiness.</li> <li>Adaptability: Deep understanding of how to transition a mine from manual to technology-assisted or autonomous operations.</li> <li>Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for reporting to executive-level stakeholders at both the customer and Pronto.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Working Conditions & Schedule</strong></p> <p><strong>On-Site Deployment: </strong>This is an on-site role. Atoms is a company driven by invention and continuous change—we are constantly reimagining our industries, building new products, and refining how we operate. This position requires travel across up to 75% of the time. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent travel and a highly mobile work environment.</p> <p>The base salary range for this role is<strong> $81,000 - $102,000 per year.</strong></p> <p>Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.</p> <p>Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package.
