You will operate within multiple security enclaves in a <strong data-start="1249" data-end="1301">hybrid Windows &amp; Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)</strong> environment, ensuring consistent system performance and reliability.</p> <hr data-start="1372" data-end="1375"> <h3 data-start="1377" data-end="1428"><strong data-start="1381" data-end="1428">Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include:</strong></h3> <ul data-start="1430" data-end="2763"> <li data-start="1430" data-end="1606"> <p data-start="1432" data-end="1606"><strong data-start="1432" data-end="1469">System Administration &amp; Advisory:</strong> Administer both <strong data-start="1486" data-end="1520">Windows and Linux workstations</strong>, including EVDI and physical systems, to ensure stability, performance, and security.</p> </li> <li data-start="1607" data-end="1809"> <p data-start="1609" data-end="1809"><strong data-start="1609" data-end="1635">Linux Desktop Support:</strong> Provide direct support for <strong data-start="1663" data-end="1686">Linux desktop users</strong>, resolving issues related to system performance, configuration, software compatibility, and user environment optimization.</p> </li> <li data-start="1810" data-end="2005"> <p data-start="1812" data-end="2005"><strong data-start="1812" data-end="1854">Troubleshooting &amp; Incident Resolution:</strong> Diagnose and resolve issues affecting both Windows and Linux systems, including application crashes, connectivity issues, and performance degradation.</p> </li> <li data-start="2006" data-end="2154"> <p data-start="2008" data-end="2154"><strong data-start="2008" data-end="2040">User Experience Improvement:</strong> Analyze and resolve user issues across platforms, and work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.</p> </li> <li data-start="2155" data-end="2299"> <p data-start="2157" data-end="2299"><strong data-start="2157" data-end="2178">Customer Support:</strong> Deliver Tier II support for Linux and Windows applications, offering remote desktop assistance and escalating as needed.</p> </li> <li data-start="2300" data-end="2446"> <p data-start="2302" data-end="2446"><strong data-start="2302" data-end="2326">Proactive Solutions:</strong> Identify and implement both immediate and long-term fixes to technical problems, ensuring minimal impact on operations.</p> </li> <li data-start="2447" data-end="2606"> <p data-start="2449" data-end="2606"><strong data-start="2449" data-end="2483">Collaboration &amp; Communication:</strong> Work effectively within small and large teams, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</p> </li> <li data-start="2607" data-end="2763"> <p data-start="2609" data-end="2763"><strong data-start="2609" data-end="2633">Incident Management:</strong> Lead triage, response, and communication for system incidents, contributing to major projects and continuous improvement efforts.</p> </li> </ul> <hr data-start="2765" data-end="2768"> <h3 data-start="2770" data-end="2801"><strong data-start="2774" data-end="2801">What We're Looking For:</strong></h3> <p data-start="2803" data-end="3005">We’re looking for an experienced IT professional with hands-on expertise in <strong data-start="2879" data-end="2918">both Windows and Linux environments</strong>, particularly with a strong emphasis on <strong data-start="2959" data-end="3004">Linux desktop support and troubleshooting</strong>.</p> <h4 data-start="3007" data-end="3037"><strong data-start="3012" data-end="3037">Minimum Requirements:</strong></h4> <ul data-start="3039" data-end="3594"> <li data-start="3039" data-end="3177"> <p data-start="3041" data-end="3177">Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field – or equivalent technical training, work, or military experience.</p> </li> <li data-start="3178" data-end="3285"> <p data-start="3180" data-end="3285">8+ years of experience in systems administration supporting both <strong data-start="3245" data-end="3284">Windows and Linux operating systems</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="3286" data-end="3347"> <p data-start="3288" data-end="3347">Active <strong data-start="3295" data-end="3320">TS/SCI with Polygraph</strong> clearance is <strong data-start="3334" data-end="3346">required</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="3348" data-end="3510"> <p data-start="3350" data-end="3510">A valid DoD Information Assuranc
