This role is responsible for defining and executing the testing strategy that ensures the safety, reliability, and performance of our battery energy storage systems (BESS).</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">As a technical leader, you will guide the development of test infrastructure, test methodologies, and validation processes across R&D, product development, and certification activities. While you will lead the testing function, this role remains highly hands-on. You will spend significant time in the lab with your team designing experiments, building complex test setups, and analyzing system performance.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">You will work closely with the test engineering team, electrical, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to validate new designs, investigate failures, and support certification testing. Your work will directly influence product reliability, safety, and time-to-market as we scale our energy storage systems.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">If you enjoy building testing systems from the ground up, solving complex engineering problems, and leading a critical function in a fast-growing clean technology company, this role is for you.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Testing Strategy & Leadership</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Own and lead Moment Energy’s testing and validation strategy across R&D, product development, and certification.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Develop and maintain comprehensive test frameworks covering component, subsystem, rack, and full BESS-level validation.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Establish testing standards, methodologies, and best practices across the engineering organization.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Mentor and guide Test Engineers, providing technical leadership and support on complex testing activities.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate closely with engineering teams to define validation plans for new products, features, and design changes.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Test Infrastructure & Lab Development</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Design, build, and scale advanced test infrastructure for battery modules, racks, and full BESS systems.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Lead the development of automated testing systems, data acquisition infrastructure, and long-duration reliability testing capabilities.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Oversee lab safety procedures and ensure safe operation of high-voltage testing environments.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Maintain and improve lab equipment, including battery cyclers, DAQ systems, power supplies, and instrumentation.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Testing & Validation</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Design and execute complex test plans for product validation, certification, R&D investigations, and lifecycle testing.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Build and oversee advanced test setups involving high-voltage DC and AC systems (up to 1000VDC, 600VAC).</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Operate battery cyclers to conduct testing on cells, modules,
