Spend a summer writing low-level firmware that brings Blackstar's hardware to life alongside the founding engineering team. What you'll do - Contribute firmware, drivers, and board support code to Blackstar's hardware platforms. - Own a well-scoped project from design through implementation and review. - Work directly with senior engineers on debugging across hardware, firmware, and software. What we're looking for - Currently pursuing a degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. - Familiarity with C/C++ and microcontroller or embedded programming. - Available to work full-time and in person in San Francisco for at least 10 weeks. Nice to have - Experience with RTOS environments, bare-metal programming, or embedded Linux. - Personal projects, research, or coursework involving embedded systems.
