You will collaborate closely with other system engineering teams, labs, and technicians to shape the avionics system.</p> <p>JetZero is a place for people who are ambitious, talented, and humble. This role is based in Long Beach, CA reporting to the Demonstrator systems team.</p> <h3>What You'll Do:</h3> <ul> <li>System design and development: system requirement and architecture updates including bus signal reviews, configuration updates, and wiring changes</li> <li>Partner with pilots and system owners (avionics, flight controls, electrical) to capture system needs in avionics and displays</li> <li>Ensure that the Avionics system complies with relevant aviation standards (ARP 4754A, ARP 4761) and regulations (Part 25, Issue papers, etc.)</li> <li>Perform supplier oversight during procurement and development phases</li> <li>Oversee the system integration of the Avionics system and integration within the aircraft with the other systems</li> <li>Conduct rigorous testing and validation to verify system performance</li> <li>Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and guidance</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerospace, systems, or a related engineering dis
