We are looking for a strategic and hands-on AI Product Manager to help define how Intent Lab builds products for AI-driven software development. This role requires strong product judgment, technical fluency, and a deep understanding of developer workflows. This is an early product role. You will work closely with engineering, AI, DevRel, enterprise, and customers to turn ambiguous opportunities into clear product direction and shipped product. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES PRODUCT STRATEGY - Define product direction for AI-assisted software development workflows. - Translate customer needs, technical capabilities, and company strategy into roadmap priorities. - Identify the product primitives, workflows, and user experiences that should become core to Intent Lab. USER UNDERSTANDING - Spend time with developers, engineering leaders, and enterprise customers to understand their workflows and pain points. - Run discovery with design partners, early users, and internal teams. - Turn qualitative feedback and usage patterns into clear product decisions. PRODUCT EXECUTION - Work closely with engineering, AI, design, DevRel, and enterprise teams to ship high-quality product experiences. - Write clear specs, user stories, launch plans, and decision memos. - Prioritize across technical, customer, and business needs. AI PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT - Partner with engineering and AI teams to evaluate model behavior, reliability, latency, cost, and user trust. - Define success metrics, failure modes, and quality thresholds for AI-powered features. - Help design feedback loops that improve the product over time. GO-TO-MARKET SUPPORT - Collaborate on product positioning, launch narratives, demos, and customer-facing materials. - Support pilots, design partner engagements, and technical customer conversations. - Help define onboarding, activation, and adoption strategy for early customers. QUALIFICATIONS - 4+ years of product management experience, ideally on developer tools, infrastructure, AI products, enterprise software, or other technical products. - Strong technical fluency across APIs, developer workflows, system architecture, and AI product tradeoffs. - Experience with ambiguous, early-stage products where the roadmap is not handed to you. - Strong product judgment. You can distinguish between impressive demos and durable user value. - Excellent writing and communication skills. - Genuine interest in AI-assisted software development. - Ability to operate independently and bring structure to fast-moving problems.
