You’ll be joining a diverse community of craftspeople who are passionate about learning, uphold exceptionally high standards of quality, and foster an environment of strategic thinking where product people can reach new heights. </p> <h1><strong>About the Role / What You’ll Work On</strong></h1> <p>The Contractor Pod’s mission is to build one unified product experience for every business that pays a contractor through Justworks, whether that contractor is based in the US or abroad, paid in dollars or a local currency, engaged for a single project or on an ongoing basis. These flows evolved separately over time and don’t yet feel like one product; closing that gap is what this pod exists to do.</p> <p>Contractor is also often the very first way a small business engages with Justworks, well before it’s ready for a full PEO, EOR, or global payroll relationship. That makes this pod’s work both a product bet and a growth bet: get the contractor experience right, and it becomes the front door to everything else Justworks offers.</p> <p>As a Senior Product Manager on this team, you’ll drive the roadmap for one or more contractor-focused initiatives, from unifying how contractors get paid regardless of currency or classification, to building bulk and recurring payment capabilities for businesses paying many contractors at once. You’ll scope and prioritize with research-backed case development and work through the complete product development lifecycle to successful delivery. A meaningful part of this role is navigating a genuinely complex regulatory landscape, since contractor classification and pay rules vary by country. You’ll need to build a sharp, data-backed point of view and partner closely with legal and international operations to make calls in areas where policy is still being defined.</p> <p>As a champion for your team’s focus and productivity, you’ll remove obstacles and develop team camaraderie to ensure maximum, high-quality output that aligns with Justworks’ business objectives.
