VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Engineer

About this role

<p>We are seeking an experienced VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Engineer with 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience and strong expertise in deploying, managing, and supporting VMware Cloud Foundation environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with virtualization, software-defined data centers (SDDC), and infrastructure automation.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br>Deploy, configure, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.<br>Administer VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN infrastructure.<br>Perform lifecycle management, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting of VCF components.<br>Monitor platform performance, capacity, and availability.<br>Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using PowerCLI, Ansible, or Terraform.<br>Support disaster recovery, backup, and high availability solutions.<br>Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure platform reliability and security.</p> <p>Required Skills<br>5+ years of experience in VMware infrastructure administration.<br>Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, NSX, and vSAN.<br>Experience with PowerCLI, Ansible, Terraform, or other automation tools.<br>Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux administration, networking, and storage technologies.<br>Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of enterprise virtualization platforms.<br>Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) is an added advantage.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications<br>VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Cloud Foundation certification.<br>Experience with Kubernetes, VMware Tanzu, or Aria Suite is a plus.</p>
