Sr. Full Stack Engineer - Digital Banking & API Platform

About this role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and modern enterprise application architecture to support Digital Products, API Banking, and Merchant Acquiring initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on development experience in building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications and APIs while working within Agile product engineering teams. The role requires expertise across frontend and backend technologies, modern DevOps practices, API integrations, and enterprise-grade software engineering standards. Requirements Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack enterprise applications using React.js and Node.js. Develop highly responsive, reusable, and testable frontend components using React.js and TypeScript. Design and develop scalable and highly available RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js. Build responsive and performant web applications adhering to enterprise engineering standards. Develop self-contained, reusable, and maintainable modules and components. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions. Architect and automate application build and deployment processes. Monitor and optimize frontend and backend application performance. Troubleshoot production issues and perform debugging and performance tuning. Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, QA teams, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, security, testing, and documentation standards. Contribute to CI/CD implementation and engineering best practices. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities. Required Technical Skills Frontend Strong hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript (5+ years). Strong proficiency in: React Hooks Component Lifecycle Context API Redux Responsive Web Application Development Modern React Architecture Patterns Strong knowledge of: HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript (ES6+) TypeScript DOM Manipulation Experience with: Tailwind CSS Styled Components Material UI CSS Pre-processors CSS-in-JS techniques Experience developing scalable and high-performance enterprise web applications. Experience monitoring and improving frontend performance. Strong understanding of frontend build pipelines and package managers such as npm and yarn. Backend Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript (5+ years). Expertise in developing: RESTful APIs Microservices architectures Enterprise backend services Strong understanding of: Non-blocking code Asynchronous programming Multi-threading concepts Experience implementing: JWT Authentication OAuth Token-based authentication mechanisms Single Sign-On (SSO) Experience with: GraphQL (Good to Have) API Gateway integrations such as 3Scale Databases Strong experience with NoSQL databases. Good understanding of: MongoDB Redis Caching strategies Database architecture concepts DevOps & Cloud Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and modern software delivery practices. Hands-on experience with: Docker Kubernetes Distributed systems Containerization technologies Familiarity with: AWS services Microsoft Azure Cloud-native application architectures Messaging & Integration Experience working with: Kafka Pushpin Event-driven architectures Task and message queues Experience integrating enterprise APIs and third-party services.
