Team members are expected to work onsite <strong>three days per week</strong> to foster collaboration, innovation, and team connectivity.</p> <p>This is <strong>not a fully remote position</strong>.</p> <p> </p> <h4><strong>The Opportunity</strong></h4> <p>Zuora’s Integration Hub (IH) team is building the connective tissue of the Subscription Economy. Our mission is to enable seamless, secure, and scalable integrations between Zuora and the broader enterprise ecosystem — including CRM, ERP, payments, data platforms, and partner applications.</p> <p>As a Software Engineer III on the Integration Hub team, you will design and develop high-performance integration services, event-driven systems, and extensible APIs that power mission-critical business workflows. You will play a key role in shaping a modern, scalable integration platform that supports real-time data exchange, automation, and enterprise-grade reliability.</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li>Design and build scalable integration services, APIs, and connectors.</li> <li>Develop event-driven and microservices-based architectures to enable real-time data flows.</li> <li>Partner closely with Product, Platform, Security, and external partners to deliver reliable and extensible integration capabilities.</li> <li>Improve system performance, observability, and resilience across distributed systems.</li> <li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with engineering best practices.</li> <li>Contribute to architectural discussions and drive technical improvements across the Integration Hub platform.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>About the Team</strong></h4> <p>Modern businesses rely on a complex ecosystem of systems — CRM, ERP, billing, payments, analytics, and more. As companies adopt subscription and usage-based models, seamless data flow between these systems becomes essential.</p> <p>The Integration Hub team is responsible for enabling:</p> <ul> <li>Pre-built and extensible connectors to third-party systems</li> <li>Event streaming and webhook frameworks</li> <li>Scalable APIs and integration services</li> <li>Secure, reliable, and observable data exchange across platforms<br><br></li> </ul> <p>We are investing in a next-generation integration platform built on microservices, cloud-native architecture, and event-driven design principles to power Zuora’s ecosystem strategy for years to come.</p> <p>Our Tech Stack includes:<br>Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Postgres, and distributed event-driven systems.<br><br></p> <h4><strong>Your Experience</strong></h4> <ul> <li>B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Engineering or equivalent discipline.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack software development.</li> <li>Knowledge and experience in the <strong>Payment</strong> domain.</li> <li>Strong expertise in Java (preferred) or another modern programming language.</li> <li>Experience building RESTful APIs and distributed microservices.</li> <li>Familiarity with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka or similar messaging systems).</li> <li>Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).</li> <li>Experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL, AWS RDS).</li> <li>Knowledge of system reliability, observability, and performance optimization.</li> <li>Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li> <li>Experience working on integration platforms, SaaS products, or enterprise systems is a strong plus.</li> <li>Curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring emerging technologies and AI-powered development tools.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h4><strong>About You</strong></h4> <ul> <li>You enjoy solving complex system integration challenges.</li> <li>You think in terms of scalability, reliability, and extensibility.</li> <li>You take ownership and thrive in collaborative environments.</li> <li>You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and contributing to evolving architectures.</li> <li>You care about writing clean code and building systems that other engineers love to use.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong></p> <p>At Zuora, we’re constantly learning, innovating, and growing.
