Geotab is seeking a Software Developer who will be part of a team that builds a state-of-the-art telematics platform that makes sense of the data collected by our custom-built hardware. This position will involve writing high-performance C# code and SQL queries to process and store this information in real-time, as well as JavaScript and TypeScript code to create fast and responsive user interfaces. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!</span></p> <h1><span style="color: rgb(37, 71, 123);">What you'll do:</span></h1> <p><span style="color: rgb(102, 120, 140); font-size: 12pt;">As a Software Developer your key area of responsibility will be defining, designing, and implementing new software applications, translating application storyboards and use cases into functional applications, and performing Test-Driven and Security-Driven Development. You will conduct comprehensive code reviews, analyze call stacks, trace files, debug logs, and performance data to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of bugs, and participate in the development of prototypes, minimum viable products, and proofs of concept. You will need to work closely with other members of the development and technical teams to consider functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and system architecture for each assignment.</span></p> <p><span style="color: rgb(102, 120, 140); font-size: 12pt;">To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to quickly understand complex, technical concepts.
