We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join a project with one of our clients, a global leader in professional information solutions and software. Operating across more than 180 countries, the company develops technology-driven solutions for industries including Healthcare, Tax & Accounting, Financial & Corporate Compliance, and Legal & Regulatory . In this role, you will take significant ownership of the testing strategy and execution, with a strong focus on API and integration testing , while also contributing to automation, CI/CD processes and cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain automated test suites , with a strong focus on APIs and system integrations; Perform functional, integration, load and security testing using SoapUI and related testing tools; Execute manual testing in areas where automation is not yet implemented; Continuously improve test coverage, automation frameworks and QA processes; Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines; Contribute to backend, infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives; Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle; Participate in Scrum ceremonies and Agile planning; Support technical decision-making and mentor colleagues on testing and quality practices; Help translate business and product requirements into reliable technical solutions. Requirements Strong experience in API and integration testing , particularly using SoapUI for functional, load and security testing; Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools , such as SoapUI, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman or Insomnia; Experience with performance testing , preferably using JMeter; Programming or scripting experience with Groovy, Java, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript; Strong understanding of REST APIs, OpenAPI, GraphQL and microservices architectures; Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines , using tools such as GitLab or Jenkins; Proficiency with Git , build/package tools (Maven, Gradle, NPM) and Bash scripting; Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL; Familiarity with messaging and queueing systems , such as AWS SQS/SNS or GCP Pub/Sub; Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), Kubernetes and serverless architectures; Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, AWS CDK, Pulumi, Ansible or Helm; Experience working in Agile environments , such as Scrum or Kanban; Strong DevOps mindset and ability to contribute beyond traditional QA responsibilities; Fluent English , with strong communication and collaboration skills.
