In this role, you will design, build, and maintain high-performance Python microservices on AWS, while seamlessly integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities such as LLM APIs, Amazon Bedrock, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows. You will anchor core backend features, write clean and scalable code, and collaborate directly with US-based client stakeholders and senior engineers in an agile environment.</p> <p>This role is critical to accelerating our client's AI-driven software initiatives, directly impacting the scalability, intelligence, and overall reliability of their cloud ecosystem. By taking ownership of backend execution and continuous system optimization, you will ensure our engineering deliverables meet the highest standards of performance, security, and developer efficiency.</p> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Design & Build</strong> performant, scalable Python APIs and microservices on <strong>AWS</strong> leveraging frameworks such as <strong>FastAPI</strong>, <strong>Django</strong>, or <strong>Flask</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Integrate & Orchestrate</strong> modern AI capabilities into existing backend architectures, connecting services to LLM endpoints (<strong>Amazon Bedrock</strong>, <strong>OpenAI</strong>, <strong>Claude</strong>) and building <strong>RAG</strong> pipelines.</li> <li><strong>Optimize & Manage</strong> cloud database operations, writing efficient SQL and NoSQL queries across <strong>AWS RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL)</strong> and <strong>DynamoDB</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Lead Quality Standards</strong> through TDD, writing comprehensive unit and integration tests (<strong>pytest</strong>) while maintaining thorough API documentation.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate & Communicate</strong> effectively in daily standups and sprint reviews, articulating technical blockers, feature estimations, and progress directly to US clients.</li> <li><strong>Monitor & Maintain</strong> system health and production telemetry using <strong>AWS CloudWatch</strong>, actively fixing bugs and refactoring code for optimal execution.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>2–4 years</strong> of professional experience in backend software engineering using <strong>Python</strong> (AsyncIO, FastAPI/Django/Flask, SQLAlchemy).</li> <li><strong>1–2+ years</strong> of hands-on experience developing, deploying, and supporting serverless and containerized services on <strong>AWS</strong> (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB).</li> <li>Proven track record building and consuming <strong>RESTful APIs</strong> and working with containerization tools (<strong>Docker</strong>) and modern <strong>Git</strong> workflows.</li> <li>Practical exposure to or strong technical experience with <strong>AI/GenAI workflows</strong> (LLM APIs, <strong>LangChain</strong>, <strong>LlamaIndex</strong>, or <strong>Amazon Bedrock</strong>).</li> <li>Solid understanding of relational database design (<strong>PostgreSQL</strong> or <strong>MySQL</strong>) and basic NoSQL concepts.</li> <li><strong>Ownership mindset</strong> with a methodical approach to problem-solving, debugging, and continuous learning.</li> <li><strong>Advanced English proficiency</strong> (B2+/C1 written and verbal) for seamless daily collaboration with US teams.</li> <li><strong>Bachelor's Degree</strong> in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Nice to Have</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Working knowledge or basic familiarity with the <strong>Java / Spring Boot</strong> ecosystem in multi-stack backend environments.</li> <li>Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools like <strong>Cursor</strong>, <strong>GitHub Copilot</strong>, or <strong>Claude Code</strong>.</li> <li>Exposure to infrastructure-as-code or automated CI/CD pipelines (<strong>GitHub Actions</strong>).</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What You’ll Love</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>100% Remote</strong> work flexibility.</li> <li><strong>Holidays off</strong> based on your local calendar.</li> <li><strong>Paid Time Off (PTO)</strong> for vacation and personal days.</li> <li><strong>Health insurance assistance</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Competitive USD compensation</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Growth opportunities</strong> and career advancement within global tech teams.</li> </ul> <h2><br><br></h2>
