Daniel Ricciardo’s Formula 1 car, a woolly mammoth skeleton, Lady Gaga’s jumpsuit and Usain Bolt’s running shoe are just a few of the special objects that have passed through our marketplace.

We are a unique marketplace for buying and selling special objects. Each week, more than 100,000 objects are auctioned, all carefully selected by our own experts.

More than 25 million objects have already found new owners through Catawiki. Our mission is to become the world’s most popular destination for special objects.

As a growing, diverse and sustainable global company, we are guided by three values:

Take ownership and drive impact

Be open to change and feedback

Be passionate about our mission and our customers

If these values resonate with you, we would like to hear from you.

Your mission

Every Product Manager at Catawiki owns a meaningful part of the customer experience.

In Demand, your mandate is straightforward: help more people find objects they care about, become active buyers and keep returning to Catawiki.

Demand is not one feature or surface. It covers how buyers first understand Catawiki, how they browse and search, what we recommend, how confidently they participate in auctions and what brings them back.

Your job is to identify the greatest opportunities across that journey, decide what matters most and lead a cross functional team from insight to measurable customer and business impact.

The solution is not prescribed. You may improve ranking and recommendations, remove barriers to a first purchase, create stronger reasons to return or develop new AI enabled experiences. What matters is that you solve an important customer problem, prove the impact and scale what works.

You will own the strategy, outcomes and execution for a cross functional team, working closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing and Commercial teams.

What you will do

Set and communicate a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap for a meaningful part of the buyer journey

Own measurable outcomes across discovery, engagement, conversion and retention

Use behavioural data, customer research and commercial insight to identify and prioritise the biggest opportunities

Turn ambiguous customer problems into clear hypotheses, prototypes and executable plans

Lead initiatives from early discovery through experimentation, launch and scaling

Define success metrics, analyse funnel and cohort performance and build a rigorous experimentation agenda

Design, run and evaluate A/B tests, turning positive, negative and inconclusive results into clear decisions

Work with data scientists and machine learning engineers to improve recommendations, ranking and personalisation

Partner closely with design to create simple, coherent and distinctive customer experiences

Use AI and rapid prototyping to test ideas early, reduce development risk and accelerate learning

Identify new AI enabled buyer experiences where the technology solves a meaningful customer problem

Create clarity, momentum and accountability across teams, including when priorities or incentives differ

Communicate strategy, performance, tradeoffs and recommendations clearly to senior and C level stakeholders

Who you are

Three qualities matter most in this role.

Outcome ownership

You take responsibility for customer and business results, not only for delivering features. You stay with the problem, remove obstacles and change direction when the evidence demands it.

Systems thinking

You understand that onboarding, discovery, recommendations, auction dynamics, CRM, commercial priorities and marketplace health influence one another. You can make thoughtful tradeoffs across the full system.

Experimental rigour

You use data, research, prototypes and controlled experiments to make decisions. You learn from negative results and can distinguish meaningful progress from activity.

You will also bring:

At least five years of product management experience, preferably in consumer ecommerce, marketplaces or another digital product at scale

A record of owning an end to end customer journey or broad product area rather than only individual features

Strong product and design judgement, with a clear view of what makes an experience intuitive, useful and high quality

Confide
