The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), Kubernetes, developer toolsets, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices. This role requires a strong understanding of modern Platform Engineering tools and practices, as well as a commitment to fostering a responsive, communicative, and collaborative environment. This is a role and team that enables Engineering to operate and build at the scale and pace of the ever changing Security Threat Landscape.&nbsp;</p> <p>You will be curious, collaborative and build with existing tools and work with the team to identify new approaches, technologies, (including AI related capabilities) to allow your team and others to increase velocity and impact.&nbsp;</p> <h3>What You'll Do:</h3> <ul> <li class="p2">Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p2">Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p2">Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p2">Support the development and management of production Kubernetes clusters in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p2">Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure in AWS to support scalable and secure applications.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p2">Administer and optimize source code repositories and workflows in GitHub.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p2">Collaborate with development teams to enhance developer toolsets and streamline SDLC processes.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p2">Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p2">Implement best practices for security, reliability, and performance.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p2">Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <h3><span class="Apple-converted-space">What You'll Bring:</span></h3> <ul> <li class="p2">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p3">5+ years of experience in a platform engineering or similar role.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p3">Proficiency in Golang or Python for scripting and automation.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p3">Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p3">Proven knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and experience with ArgoCD.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p3">Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p3">Proven experience with AWS cloud services.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p4">Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p3">Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p3">Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p3">Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="p3">Good networking knowledge.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <h3><span class="Apple-converted-space">Preferred Qualifications:</span></h3> <ul> <li class="p2">Experience with Github runners and other CI/CD tools and platforms.</li> <li class="p2">Familiarity with programming languages such as Go, Python or Java in the context of CICD.</li> <li class="p2">Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.</li> <li class="p2">Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, ELK and Grafana stacks.</li> <li class="p2">Experience in networking and Linux.</li> <li class="p2">Certification in AWS or Kubernetes and experience with Backstage is a plus.</li> <li class="p2">Experience with kOps is a plus.</li> <li class="p2">Knowledge of Cilium CNI is a plus<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <p><em>The base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$193,500. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary displayed reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by state, work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401K.
