📌 About the Role Jus Mundi is looking for a full-time Senior Platform & Cloud Engineer to join the team. We want you to be part of a team of passionate people who are always ready to help each other. This position is based in Paris with a very flexible remote working arrangement. In the EPD team (Engineering, Product and Design) department, your role will be to build, run, and evolve our internal developer platform and the scalable cloud infrastructure that powers it. You'll create paved paths, self-service tooling, and automation that enable engineering teams to ship faster, safer, and more autonomously, all while owning hands-on cloud engineering across Kubernetes, multi-cloud infrastructure, database and search clusters, security, reliability, and cost optimization. Platform / Developer Experience Deliver self-service golden paths for product teams Improve delivery performance across engineering teams Reduce toil and cognitive load for product engineers Build and own reusable platform components (CI/CD templates, IaC modules, observability-as-a-service...) Raise developer satisfaction with the platform Cloud & Infrastructure Design and operate scalable, reliable multi-cloud infrastructure Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters Operate, tune, and scale database & search clusters (Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, etc.) Optimize cloud cost / FinOps Maintain and improve infrastructure security and reliability 📌 Our Tech Stack: Here is a snippet of what technologies you will find at Jus Mundi: Cloud Providers: OVHcloud (main provider), AWS, Scaleway, Microsoft Azure IaC and CI/CD: Terraform, Ansible, GitLab Orchestration: HashiStack (Vault, Consul, Nomad) and experimenting with Kubernetes Databases: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, Neo4j, VictoriaMetrics Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, Vector, Zabbix, Datadog Network: HAProxy, Cloudflare Enterprise But as we are explorers, we are open to new methods and technologies. ⚙️ Preferred Experience and Skills Must Have 6+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps, with a Bachelor's degree (BAC+3) in Computer Science or equivalent Strong software engineering skills (Go, Python...) with the ability to build developer-facing tools with usability, reliability, and adoption in mind Deep hands-on cloud infrastructure engineering Kubernetes experience at the cluster-operations level Experience managing and optimizing database & search clusters Strong platform automation skills: containers, orchestration, CI/CD, and IaC Observability engineering experience (Prometheus/Grafana, logs, traces, metrics) Proficiency in and regular use of AI-assisted engineering tools Good English communication skills (written and spoken); ability to moderate advanced technical discussions Write-it-down culture and strong organizational abilities Ability to give effective feedback and collaborate cross-team Openness to exploring new methods and technologies Trustworthy, with a track record as a technical leader (has held a Tech Lead position previously) ➕ This is a plus: Experience in security-intensive environments and security-as-code Cloud cost optimization / FinOps experience Experience with platform capabilities for AI/ML workloads: inference serving, vector/search infrastructure, MLOps/LLMOps, GPU scheduling Experience with specific technologies: Scaleway, OVHcloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Cloudflare, Elasticsearch, HashiCorp Suite (Vault/Nomad/Consul) Business awareness: connects platform and infrastructure choices to cost, business, revenue, and UX Customer mindset toward internal developers Active in the tech community: meetups, open source, or sharing insights online 🔄 Interview process We’re proud of our multicultural team representing 37 nationalities!
