This includes external customer-facing experiences such as provider portals and patient portals, as well as mission-critical internal software platforms such as an internal variant curation and report generation platform.</p> <p>This is a unique opportunity for a product-first technology leader who combines exceptional product management instincts with strong engineering leadership experience. The ideal candidate is deeply customer-centric, understands how to build scalable and elegant software systems, embraces an AI-first mindset, and has experience leveraging emerging AI capabilities to deliver differentiated customer experiences and operational advantage. This leader should also have experience managing engineering organizations while maintaining a strong product and business mindset.</p> <p>You will oversee both the Software Product Management and Software Product Engineering organizations, partnering closely with Clinical Product, IT/IS, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Operations, Commercial, and Executive Leadership teams to deliver category-defining software experiences and operational platforms that create a durable competitive advantage.</p> <p>This is a hybrid (<strong>onsite 3 days/week</strong>) position reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage the Software Product Management and Software Product Engineering organizations across oncology and prenatal software products</li> <li>Define and execute the software product and platform strategy for provider portals, patient experiences, operational platforms, and internal workflow tools</li> <li>Drive an AI-first approach across both product development and engineering operations, leveraging modern AI technologies and tools to accelerate development and improve software quality and team productivity</li> <li>Identify opportunities to transform emerging AI capabilities into differentiated customer-facing products and meaningful customer value</li> <li>Partner closely with Clinical Product, Data Science, Bioinformatics, IT/IS, Operations, and Commercial teams to deliver category-defining software experiences and operational platforms</li> <li>Lead engineering managers and software engineering teams responsible for architecture, development, infrastructure, quality, scalability, and operational excellence</li> <li>Establish strong product and engineering operating mechanisms, execution frameworks, and prioritization processes to ensure predictable, high-quality software delivery</li> <li>Build a high-performance culture centered around customer obsession, ownership, speed, technical excellence, and business impact</li> <li>Serve as the company’s leading expert on customer workflows and software user experience across provider, patient, and internal operational systems</li> </ul> <p><strong data-stringify-type="bold">Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in software product management, software engineering, or technology leadership roles with increasing organizational responsibility</li> <li>Strong product management background with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of complex software products and platforms</li> <li>Experience managing software engineering organizations and engineering leaders</li> <li>Proven ability to lead both product and engineering functions simultaneously</li> <li>Track record of building and scaling customer-facing software products and/or complex operational software systems</li> <li>Strong understanding of software architecture, platform development, system scalability, and engineering tradeoffs</li> <li>Experience leveraging AI technologies and AI-enabled development workflows to deliver customer and business value</li> <li>Strong product instincts with the ability to identify and translate emerging technologies into practical customer-facing solutions</li> <li>Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills</li> <li>Highly entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when needed</li> <li>Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with ambiguity and rapid iteration</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice-to-Haves:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences, genomics, or regulated environments</li> <li>Experience building provider-facing or patient-facing healthcare software products</li> <li>Strong experience with US healthcare technologies and ecosystems
