By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what’s possible and shape the future of mobility.</span></strong></p></div><div> <p><span data-teams="true">As a Behavior Planning Engineer on our ADAS Autonomous Driving Team, you will be responsible for managing the software stack and introducing new algorithms for the purpose of improved customer experience. Additionally, you will conduct data analysis to extract critical scenarios from fleet data and simulation data, contributing to the enhancement of our autonomous driving system's decision-making capabilities. Our ideal candidate exhibits a proactive, can-do attitude and approaches their work systematically with vigor, determination, and accuracy. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly, and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. </span></p> <p><strong>The Role:</strong></p> <p>· Design, prototype, engineer, test, release and launch cutting edge features for ADAS/Autonomous Driving.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p> <p>· Conduct research to come up with state-of-the-art machine learning based planning and prediction solutions and have the drive and expertise to take such solution to production.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p><em>Must haves:</em></p> <p>- Proficiency in C++ & Python, with 3+ years of academic/industry experience specifically with relevant libraries used for data analysis and management.</p> <p>- Demonstrated expertise in software design principles, with a focus on creating scalable and efficient data management systems.</p> <p>- Understanding and exposure to non-ML planning methods.</p> <p>- Conduct research to come up with state-of-the-art machine learning based planning and prediction solutions and have the drive and expertise to take such solution to production.</p> <p><em>Preferable:</em></p> <p>- 3+ years of academic/industry experience in ML development, with a solid understanding of its applications in large-scale data systems.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p> <p>- Experience with porting trained models to embedded platforms and solid fundamentals in c++.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p> <p>- Background in one of these areas' perception, environment modeling , prediction or planning as part of ADAS/AD software stack or equivalent robotic applications.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p> <p>- Experience Large scale data processing for perception and planning stack in Autonomous Driving or other robotic applications is a plus.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p> <p>- Academic or practical experience in imitation learning, reinforcement learning, simulation etc.</p> <p><strong>Education</strong>:</p> <p>· BS or MS/PhD (preferred) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Data Science.</p> </div> <div> </div> <div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
