Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.</p></div><h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Role overview:</span></h2> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">SIE Martech Engineering team looking for a highly skilled <strong>QA Automation</strong> <strong>Engineer</strong> with <strong>6+ years of experience</strong>, who will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for <strong>AEM based web applications</strong>, ensuring high quality, scalable, secure, and performant solutions for PlayStation.com and internal applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with architects, developers, product management, and operations teams to deliver robust software solutions and mentor junior QA engineers.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Design, create, and execute <strong>manual and automated test plans and scripts</strong> to validate functionality, performance, and security of AEM sites and web applications.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Conduct <strong>in-depth</strong> <strong>functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing</strong> for new or enhanced features.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Identify, triage, report, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and re-testing.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Work in an <strong>agile, collaborative environment</strong> with globally distributed engineering teams.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure <strong>high-quality, low-defect releases</strong> through rigorous testing and process adherence.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Develop and</strong> <strong>maintain</strong> <strong>automated testing scripts</strong> using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Applitools, Cucumber, or other relevant frameworks.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Configure <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> using Jenkins, Maven, and related tools to support automated test execution.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Mentor and guide junior QA engineers through <strong>code reviews, workshops, defect documentation, and knowledge sharing</strong>.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with developers and architects to review requirements, technical designs, and implementation for testability and coverage.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Participate in <strong>end-to-end QA of web applications</strong>, including REST APIs, XML, Xpath validation, and AEM components testing.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Evaluate test frameworks and recommend improvements for <strong>automation efficiency and coverage</strong>.</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">What we're looking for:</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Education:</strong> BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Experience:</strong></span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">6+ years of experience as a <strong>QA Engineer</strong>, with a focus on web application testing.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">4+ years of hands-on experience with <strong>Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)</strong> and related Adobe products.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">4+ years of <strong>test automation experience</strong> using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, or equivalent frameworks.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with <strong>CI/CD tools</strong> (Jenkins, Maven) for automated testing integration.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong knowledge of <strong>web technologies</strong>: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, REST APIs, and Postman.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Expertise in <strong>functional, regression, performance, and security testing</strong>.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficient in <strong>defect tracking and test management tools</strong> such as JIRA, QTest, or Wrike.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience in reviewing <strong>technical designs, AEM components, templates, and services layers</strong> to support test planning.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Additional skills:</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Understanding of <strong>gaming industry and video game culture</strong> is a plus.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><spa
