The role focuses on enabling seamless data movement, system connectivity, and interoperability across platforms, ensuring that integrations are maintainable, performant, and aligned with architectural standards.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Working within an Agile product delivery model, this role contributes to both the continuous evolution of integration capabilities and the stability of core data flows. The Integration Engineer partners closely with Platform Engineers, Product Managers, and Data teams to deliver cohesive, end-to-end technology solutions.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This role is suited for individuals with strong technical depth who are motivated to build and improve integration architecture and data pipelines within an enterprise environment.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Integration Engineering &amp; Solution Design</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Design, build, and implement scalable integration solutions across the Workday platform and connected systems, including:</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Workday Studio</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Core Connectors and EIBs</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">API-based integrations (REST/SOAP)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Define and apply integration design patterns that promote scalability, reusability, and maintainability</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Design secure and reliable data flows, including transformation logic, orchestration, and error handling</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Evaluate integration approaches and make informed design decisions, balancing business needs, system constraints, and long-term sustainability</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Own end-to-end delivery of integration solutions, including design, build, testing, and deployment readiness</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Integration Architecture &amp; Platform Connectivity</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Contribute to the design and evolution of integration architecture across the People Technology ecosystem</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure consistent patterns for system connectivity, data exchange, and interface design</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Document integration designs, data flows, and technical architecture to support maintainability and governance</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with multi-functional teams to enable seamless end-to-end system interactions</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Data Engineering &amp; Reporting Solutions</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Design and deliver data extracts, reporting solutions, and document generation capabilities (e.g., BIRT, Docs for Layouts) as part of the broader People data ecosystem</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop and maintain calculated fields and data structures to support integration and reporting use cases</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across integrations and downstream systems</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Platform Reliability &amp; Operations</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain reliability of integration pipelines through proactive monitoring, issue diagnosis, and resolution</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Identify root causes of failures and implement structural improvements to enhance stability and performance</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Optimize integrations for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Partner with team members to prioritize enhancements and manage competing demands</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Delivery &amp; Agile Execution</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 1
