ABOUT THE ROLE Join a well-funded, early-stage B2B SaaS company bringing AI agents to a highly specialised professional services industry. In this hands-on engineering role you will turn real-world workflow observations into production-grade AI automations that save practitioners hours of repetitive manual effort. You'll work directly with customers, own systems end-to-end, and ship fast — experimentation and measurable impact are core to how the team operates. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design and build AI agents that autonomously perform observed, repetitive workflows. - Work closely with customers to understand their operations and surface high-value automation opportunities. - Own production AI agents across the full lifecycle: build, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve. - Run structured experiments with new models and techniques, benchmark results, and ship what works. - Ship automations that deliver measurable efficiency gains for end users. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Must-haves (dealbreakers): - 5+ years of experience in ML/AI product development building and delivering production-grade AI agents. - Proven track record shipping LLM-based systems in production. - End-to-end ownership of production AI agents (build → deploy → monitor → improve). Required skills & experience: - Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience deploying LLMs and AI agents at production scale. - Experience turning observed workflows into deployable AI automations and delivering complete end-to-end AI solutions. - Comfortable engaging directly with customers to gather requirements and iterate on solutions. - Product-minded approach to designing AI × Human interfaces and practical automation systems. Nice to have: - Experience designing interfaces for human–AI collaboration. - Structured experimentation with new models/techniques and benchmarking methodologies. - Observability and monitoring for AI systems (metrics, dashboards, alerts). - Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in early-stage, fast-moving teams. LOCATION This is a fully on-site role based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Candidates must be willing to work from the Munich office.
