GetWhys is an AI-powered Insight-Driven GTM platform that converts B2B buyer research into actionable messaging and enablement for go-to-market teams.

Marketing Designer

Location: Boise, ID or Portland, OR (Hybrid)

Compensation: $130k - $160k+ DOE & equity

Reporting to: Head of Marketing

About GetWhys

GetWhys is a VC-backed SaaS company building AI-powered customer research and messaging tools for product marketers. Our products help companies like Docker, Docusign, and Commvault understand their customers and craft better messaging. We’re a small team that’s growing quickly—our ARR grew over 10x in 2025—by shipping a strongly differentiated SaaS product.

The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Designer to own the look and feel across every surface: product marketing, website, ads, sales materials, social content, and more. You’ll work as part of the go-to-market team to build a brand that feels modern, credible, and distinct in an industry where everything tends to look the same.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic brand thinking and hands-on execution. You’ll set the visual direction and then actually build it—no hand-off to a separate production team. If you care deeply about craft and want your work to be the thing people see when they first encounter GetWhys, this is the role.

What You’ll Own

Brand & Visual Identity

Shape and continuously evolve GetWhys’s visual identity and brand system as the company and product grow

Define and maintain design standards across every marketing asset—ensuring consistency without sacrificing freshness

Bring a strong point of view on what a modern, credible B2B brand can look like

Web and Marketing Design

Design marketing assets end-to-end: website pages, landing pages, social graphics, ads and campaign materials

Partner with the marketing team to translate positioning and messaging into visuals that stop the scroll and earn attention

Move quickly on new asset requests without letting quality slip

Sales & Product Storytelling

Create compelling sales materials and product storytelling collateral—one-pagers, pitch decks, battlecards, and more

Work with the sales team to make sure the story we tell in a deck matches the brand we show everywhere else

Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure brand consistency carries through to the platform itself

Motion, Illustration & Web

Produce motion graphics and animations to bring campaigns and product storytelling to life

Create original illustration when the concept calls for

Own web design decisions that shape how buyers experience GetWhys online

What We’re Looking For

4-5 years of experience in brand design, art direction, and marketing-focused creative roles

A portfolio that demonstrates brand systems, marketing design, and visual storytelling

Strong visual taste and an obsessive eye for detail

Proficiency with Figma and a modern design toolset; motion and illustration skills are a strong plus

Comfortable moving quickly and iterating in an early-stage startup environment—you don’t need everything defined before you start

Resourceful and self-directed: you can identify what needs to exist, make it, and move on

Strong communication and collaboration skills—you can explain your design decisions and take feedback without losing your conviction

Experience designing for B2B SaaS is a plus; experience making B2B feel less boring is an even bigger one

Benefits

Healthcare, Dental, and Vision insurance (90% of your deductible, 75% of your dependents’)

401(k) with 3% company match

Unlimited PTO (suggested minimum 10 business days per year)

12 weeks paid parental leave

18 company holidays

We’re a historically remote company with hubs in Portland, NYC, Boise, and Bozeman

We’ll always be remote friendly (e.g., no “X days in office”)

Regular team- and company-wide in-person gatherings
