Our work depends on a TS/SCI cleared Junior Cloud Operations and Customer Support Engineer joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p> <p>In this role, you will join our Continuous Operations Release Environment (CORE) team, providing high-quality, cost-effective cloud solutions to our clients. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our cloud infrastructure, emphasizing operational excellence, efficiency, and exceptional customer support.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proactively manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance</li> <li>Respond to and resolve customer issues, providing top-tier technical support and customer service</li> <li>Collaborate with various engineering teams to support the user consumption of applications in a complex enterprise cloud environment</li> <li>Monitor applications to identify and address performance or availability issues</li> <li>Continuously assess application infrastructure for scalability and performance improvements.</li> <li>Develop and maintain detailed documentation for application support procedures.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What You'll Need</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in the IT field, related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience</li> <li>2+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on cloud operations and customer support</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in AWS cloud services and infrastructure management</li> <li>Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities</li> <li>Experience delivering customer-focused technical support</li> <li>Knowledge of Linux distributions (e.g., RedHat, CentOS).</li> <li>Familiarity with DevOps practices, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Nexus).</li> <li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p> <ul> <li>All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.</li> <li>Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $120-$130k.
