ABOUT THE ROLE This is the first infrastructure hire at an early-stage agentic integration platform, working directly with the CTO on a leadership track. You'll own the full infra and platform layer from day one — and grow into leading the team that builds it. The work sits at the intersection of durable execution, agent infrastructure, and self-hostable deployment. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own and evolve the runtime platform: durable execution, sandboxed isolation, and self-healing infrastructure — essentially a mini cloud for integration workloads. - Build and scale agent infrastructure that enables coding agents to write, test, and deploy integration code in production. - Design and maintain full observability across every integration and agent (logs, metrics, traces), and ship it as a single-tenant, self-hostable product. - Set the engineering patterns and foundations that every future infrastructure hire will build on. - Ship to production constantly, operating as a peer to the founding team. - Help grow and eventually lead the infrastructure team within approximately one year. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 3+ years of engineering experience, ideally at a high-growth startup in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment. - Proven experience designing and implementing observability pipelines (logs, metrics, tracing) for production systems. - Hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS. - Strong backend skills in TypeScript and PostgreSQL. - Comfort owning ambiguous, high-scope problems with minimal direction. - Interest in or experience with agentic systems, integration platforms, or developer tooling is a plus. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: $175,000 – $300,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site in San Francisco, CA, United States.
