The candidate will be expected to collaborate to design and then develop, implement, and optimize critical databases, processes and reports to achieve business goals and support the development and data platform teams.</span></p> <div class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></div> <h3 class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Key Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Design, implement, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Aurora, MongoDB, etc.).</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Integrate database deployments into&nbsp;CI/CD pipelines&nbsp;to enable automated schema migrations, rollback, and testing.</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Develop and manage&nbsp;infrastructure as code (IaC)&nbsp;for database provisioning (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Implement&nbsp;monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions&nbsp;to ensure database performance, health, and security.</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Optimize database queries, indexes, and execution plans to improve performance and reduce costs.</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Manage&nbsp;high availability, replication, backup, and disaster recovery&nbsp;strategies.</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Collaborate with developers, SREs, and DevOps engineers to ensure smooth and secure application-to-database integration.</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Enforce&nbsp;security best practices, including encryption, key management (AWS KMS/CMK), access control, and compliance with data regulations.</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis.</p> </li> </ul> <div class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">&nbsp;</div> <h3 class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Qualifications:</h3> <ul> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">5+ years of experience as a&nbsp;Database Engineer / DBA&nbsp;with at least 3+ years in a&nbsp;DevOps/Cloud environment.</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Proficiency with&nbsp;PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, &nbsp;Aurora&nbsp;(at least one deeply, others working knowledge).</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Experience with&nbsp;CI/CD tools&nbsp;(Liqbase, &nbsp;GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Hands-on experience with&nbsp;IaC&nbsp;(Terraform, CloudFormation).</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Expertise in&nbsp;cloud platforms&nbsp;(AWS preferred, Azure/GCP a plus).</p> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Solid understanding of database security, encryption, and auditing.</p> </li> <li> <div class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Solid understand on Kafka cluster.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <p class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Pay Scale: </strong>$100,000-$120,000</p> <p><strong>Bonus:&nbsp;</strong>This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Benefits: Full-time: </strong>We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes: medical, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick time, company paid basic life insurance, voluntary life insurance, parental leave, 401k Plan (with a current employer match of 3%), flexible spending and health savings account options, and wellness offerings.
