Job Title: Co-op, Product Design (Fall 2026 Term) Location: London, UK Term: 4 months Start Date: September 12, 2026 Openings: 1  Overview: At Hootsuite, our Product Design team is focused on creating intuitive and effective experiences for our users in the B2B SaaS space. As a UX/UI Intern, you’ll work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to support design projects and gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. You’ll be paired with a mentor and contribute to real projects, helping to improve the usability and design of our platform while learning about the UX/UI design process in a collaborative environment. WHAT YOU’LL DO: <ul> <li>Design Support: Assist in creating wireframes, mockups, and UI components using tools like Figma.</li> <li>Research Participation: Help plan user research sessions, observe research activities, and assist in compiling findings into reports.</li> <li>Design Documentation: Help maintain and organize design files, guidelines, and feedback for future reference.</li> <li>Collaboration: Work with UX designers, product managers, and developers to support ongoing projects.</li> <li>Iterate & Improve: Make small design refinements and contribute to discussions about usability and accessibility.</li> <li>Design System Support: Assist in updating and maintaining Hootsuite’s Design System to ensure consistency across products.</li> <li>Agile Workflow: Participate in team meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and design critiques.</li> </ul> WHAT YOU’LL NEED: <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.</li> <li>Familiarity with design tools like Figma (or similar).</li> <li>Interest in UX/UI principles, including usability, accessibility, and interaction design.</li> <li>Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.</li> <li>Strong communication skills for working with a cross-functional team.</li> <li>No portfolio required, but it's great to have if you want to showcase your work.</li> <li>Collaboration and Teamwork: works with others to deliver results, meaningfully contributing to the team and prioritizing group needs over individual needs</li> <li>Creativity and Innovation: seeks new and better ways of doing things, generates original and imaginative ideas, products, or solutions</li> <li>Courage: steps up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be said</li> <li>Open Communication: clearly conveys thoughts, both written and verbally, listening attentively and asking questions for clarification and understanding</li> </ul> WHO YOU ARE: <ul> <li>Solution seeker.
