<p></p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">We are looking for an experienced AS400 / COBOL Life/Asia Developer to support application development, system enhancements, implementation, and production support activities within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Life/Asia, COBOL development, and AS400 environments.</p> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Design, develop, test, and implement solutions within the Life/Asia application.</li> <li>Perform coding, unit testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support activities.</li> <li>Support day-end, month-end, and ad-hoc batch processing activities.</li> <li>Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.</li> <li>Deliver system enhancements, defect fixes, and project initiatives within agreed timelines.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with SDLC, change management, security, and governance processes.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews, version control, and quality assurance activities.</li> <li>Work closely with business users, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.</li> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Minimum 5 years of hands-on Life/Asia development and implementation experience.</li> <li>Strong experience in COBOL development and AS400/iSeries environment.</li> <li>Experience in Life/Asia coding, customization, system enhancements, and production support.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of JCL, batch processing, and job scheduling.</li> <li>Experience in system design, coding, unit testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.</li> <li>Good understanding of SDLC, change management, and release management processes.</li> <li>Ability to support critical production issues and perform root cause analysis.</li> <li>Experience working with version control, code reviews, application security, and performance optimization.</li> <li>Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.</li> </ul> <p></p>
